Lem Si Ho Tong Scholarship and Awards Program

Dear Members,

We are pleased to announce the Lem Si Ho Tong Scholarship Program will continue for the 2025-26 season. We enter the new year after an amazing group of 17 students were awarded scholarships for the latest academic year.

These scholarships were established several years ago by the Board of Directors to recognize and reward our exceptional student members. Initially, scholarship amounts were determined by individual grades. Currently, all eligible recipients within the same category receive the same monetary award, recognizing their academic excellence and contributions to the Tong throughout the school year. 

Additionally, we have included the Elsie Lum Family Youth Recognition Award. This recognizes the most deserving youth member who has participated in and provided leadership and assistance in supporting the Lem youth in our events. There are plenty of volunteer and participation activities available now to help you meet the requirements of these scholarships.  Stay tuned, the website will highlight current and future qualifying events.

We deeply value the support of our youth group members. Several past scholars have contributed to the LSHT over the years, and we sincerely hope that our scholarship recipients will remain active with the Tong in the future. The current Tong hall stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts of our members.
